| Childcare | The Gingerbread House believes that children learn from hands-on experiences. Our staff provide children with the materials and resources as well as the freedom and support to learn at their own pace. Activities are child-directed, and developed from the children’s own interests and abilities. Our goal is to help develop a child’s confidence and self-esteem as well as their independence. Teachers prepare a weekly curriculum in an effort to help the children grow socially, physically, emotionally and cognitively.
Classrooms are divided into four general age ranges based on each child’s development:
6 weeks to 18 months
• Individualized care
• Personalized daily notes
• In-room refrigerators
18 months to 3 years

• Large classrooms are divided into learning centers
• Small grouping throughout the day
• Large outdoor playspace

• Children are given the freedom to learn at their own pace
