Enrichment The Gingerbread House Enrichment Program is challenging and stimulating but most of all, it is full of fun! It is offered to four year old children as a supplementary program which meets on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 12:45-2:45 p.m. This program starts in October and runs through April. There are monthly themes which allow time to really explore a topic creatively. Most of the topics are science-based and stimulate a child’s mind to higher levels of thinking and problem solving. Through “hands-on” themes, children experience science, language arts, musical expression, and artistic creativity. Class size is kept intentionally small to enable “sub-areas” within interest areas that respond to current interests. Past monthly themes include “Art with the Masters”, “Holiday Time Around the World”, “Digging for Dinosaurs”, and “Fun with Science”.
